Reindeer lichen
Reindeer lichen (lat. Cladonia rangiferina) contains polysaccharides, flavonoids (aromatic amino acids), vitamin B12, glucuronic acid, phosphorus, selenium, iron, iodine, potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, and magnesium. It binds and removes exogenous and endogenous toxins from the body, improves intestinal functions by increasing the number and activity of lacto- and bifidobacteria, regulates blood sugar levels, lowers cholesterol, has anticoagulation and immunomodulatory effects, and increases the bioavailability of betulin.
